But not completely, as it hung shortly a shark 100 + after we moved off the coast of the Yellowtail. Help! I need fish photos
I'm looking for own good quality of all species shots available here in the West of the Mexico and the Baja coast, regardless of whether they were taken here... not only the marlins, sail, dorado and tuna, but all the other stuff, spearfish, different jacks (yellowtail, yellowtail, golden, black etc.), trevallys (blue fin, big eye), Rainbow runners, snappers, groupers, wrasses barracuda, parrots, triggers, pumps... eccentric fish you can have. If you have any good shots taking a fresh fish (with all its colours), Focus and as hi res as you can, that would be great. Also the search for pictures of women fishing/holding fish, other "fun", wearing goofy hats or clothes, hook into pants, stuff like that. Please see attached photos to see what I mean. I'll give you credit in the book for the pictures used. Thank you, Jeff Klassen

FORT LAUDERDALE FISHING REPORT LADY PAMELA 2 4 JUNE
morning 8-12.
This morning Paul year I was 6 guys, to fort Lauderdale bachelor party. They had never really been deep sea fishing before, then we have some fresh bonito in the morning that we have cut into strips. This time of year were fresh bonito bands is the key for the trolling. Our first passes in a 150 feet of water, we had a triple on header. A king mackerel, Bonita and a small black-tuna. Evan couldn?t feel that for three hours we where in behind it was as fast I could work whenever I turned around we had another fish on line bonitos, King fish, black fin tuna we also took a few small mahi - mahi that we had to let go because they where runs to keep. Evan and friends are sea sick so we came early, but fishing was red hot that we ended up capturing seven Kingfish, bonito 6, 3 mahi mahi, 3 black-fin Tunas. And we came in one hour at the beginning.
Afternoon 1-5.
On the afternoon trip we had Doug a Kevin a part of the business y clients that they took the afternoon trip because the fishng has been a little better. And we began trool as soon as we arrived at a 100 feet by two planners deep down about 60 feet below the surface and four bait on top, as soon as we have all the lines in the water, we had 2 bonito on a doug under the chairmanship of fighting a a stand up guy with a belt. Two hours Strait next we keep couldn?t bait in the water, there was both unreel the Lady Pamela 1 had a sailboat on the right of the following two we keep us circleing the Lady Pamela 1 Paul shout it it is on the right rigger long, then I picked up the stem and connected to sailing, we eliminated all other bars back and hard one he took 1 min or not, but we landed a Nice 6 feet sailing of the fish and the Lady Pamela 1?s sailfish was 5 feet ?, the trooling was also good that he obtain the last couble of days. After two hours of none stop action Doug year friends try some shark fishing.
FORT LAUDERDALE DRIFT FISHING
This morning our drift fishing vessel LADY PAMELA 3 left with 18 people. Fishing between 90 a 180 feet of water with fresh sardines and ballyhoos hook three platforms an advance of 1 oz. They took 18 Bonita?s, 2 big Mahi Mahi, Kingfish big 5 and a few Yellow Tail Snapper. That?s a large catch of the vessel derives from this time of year every day on the lady Pamela 3 for the last two weeks that drift fishing has been enormous.

True adventures of crime-Hansen Dam
I have frequently gazed at the Lake below the concrete Pond and thought, If I'm going to get skunked anyway, and can also do it to the competent authority of the water. There is nothing more depressing this getting not bites while fishing in a container of water with the Lifeguard watch square my every movement.
So made premedytacj? My crime and packed and needed in my backpack and led to the Park. On the right instead of left and went as far as I could before the fence closed roads. And truck stop and slipped to a brush with my rod and may head as limited. After walking for literally miles through the swamp I finally my way to the actual Lake. Keep in mind that I may have walked directly to him and parked in the first batch. But he was a criminal offence and to the calculator back! Much more exciting, if not stupid.
On my route by swamp I found a rustic campsite, without a doubt, made by the locals. Was empty cans bud light, a condom used hanging from the log and a pair of jagged undies pink hanging from a branch. Wow. What a great place to drink and ****, I think. Hot, must have been it.
When I reached Lake stunned on beauty and the family. I found a small opening where I had just a place to toss My lineout in a half-assed. My device has been the home of earthworms grown from my city provided (Glendale) compost bin with barrel weight and rotational 3 ft line. I was certain that I would be slamming fish within minutes. I was disappointed when nothing happened, but not surprised. At one point a huge fish, which looked like carp leaped out of the water only from my range casting and belly flopped again. Almost as if to spite me.
I made the decision to move in a more convenient place and began to move the brush when I heard the engine ATV in the distance. Quickly got and paused, as I heard the propulsion of the vehicle down the path of dirt just above me. Without a doubt, this is The Man hunting me like an animal. After he passed he seemed safe and feed on. How do I ducked under the branches and made my way to the opening by the path of dirt I heard loud talking and laughing in a nearby site. Froze and slightly turned on to see the ATV and its passengers parked in the Lake. Was approximately 50 ft for them. They may not see me. Slowly crept back to cover and waited, hoping'd leave. But didn t. Laughed and talked loudly. Unable to create a word they were saying. It was annoying and I was imprisoned.
I decided to wait out. Finally, after about 30 minutes, I heard ATV run and drive back down the path above me. And low laid down for a while, and then made My Move. When I arrived at the opening and was excited. It was more than enough space to reflect and even Lifeguard rescue surfboard close to where I needed to paddle and spare My line with branch. Like and cast for the first time, and again, he heard the ATV for me.
My soul was crushed and I felt Great panic. For the moment I think that running in the brush, but was however, quite. Just stood there and continue fishing until the Lifeguard rama, by itself this time and informed me that he was not allowed to fish on the Lake. So I left. I walked back to my truck, which was now, at least one and a half kilometre from the hotel and drove home, skunked again. I have unfinished business on the spot and afraid that must return some day.

I'm new to the forums. I caught this fish today, and was wondering what it was. I ran it by a couple of other people, and no luck, so I was hoping to get some help here. I thought crappie, but the head looks all wrong. Thanks for the help. :)

(24347 posts) the color combo with the exception to the stripes on the tail I would have said it was in the gill family,
but before I put my foot n my mouth I will have to ask, what state did you catch it in, be genneral northern of sothern part of the state.
I am leaning twards popular concences, but the location will be a for sure give a way.

(24347 posts) if your in the Down Florida Way, I would say what the other guys are saying. I have some buds that will pack a few home when they go out in mid florida. They like them pretty well, even tho they dont target tallapia they say if they have any size to them they dont mind cleaning up a mess.
here is an example of where it is caught from that has a lot to do with the species.
in this photo below there are 4 different gill species caught out of the same hole in the ice. "long ear, short ear, sunfish and roach, the two on the bottom are crappie. "click to enlarge"
